HER EPITAPH - CHARACTER TO STRIVE FOR
How would you like to earn an epitaph like this ?
A young elementary school girl who was loved by her teacher and all her classmates developed a very serious medical condition from which she died.
The whole school grieved losing her and her teacher worked to console her classmates. She asked them to suggest words they thought would be good to place on the young girl’s grave marker.
The teacher told the girl's parents what her classmates came up with and her parents were happy to make that her epitaph. It was a powerful testimony of the little girl’s character.
Her epitaph read:
“It was easier to be good
when she was around.”
