Here are two artist's renditions of how the Jewish high priest may have looked is his elaborate garments.

PASSOVER SACRIFICES MADE BY JOSIAH

2 Chronicles 35 gives an account of the animal sacrifices made by King Josiah to commemorate the passover.  Mind boggling.

For the sacrifices to be made, Josiah contributed:

    30,000 sheep, lambs and goats

    +3,000 bulls

    33,000. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  33,000

The princes and officers contributed:

2,600 small cattle (sheep, lambs goats?)

    + 300 oxen

    2,900 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .   2,900

Conaniah and others contributed:

    5,000 small cattle

    + 500 oxen

    5,500 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5,500

                                                                TOTAL 41,400

41,400 animals (cattle) offered as sacrifice in one day on the 14th day of the first month to commemorate the passover.

41,400 sacrifices in a 24-hour period breaks down as follows:

      41,400 / 24 =1,725 animal sacrifices PER HOUR

        1,725 / 60 = 28.75 animal sacrifices PER MINUTE

        28.75 / 60 = about 1/2 an animal PER SECOND

AMAZING !!!  IN YOUR MIND, PICTURE THAT SCENE !!!
